Jimmy White Exhibition (Lincoln, Feb 2019)
YouTube: 'Kurtis Norman vs. Jimmy White' Saturday 9th February 2019 Whilst on a weekend away in Lincoln, Laureece and I heard that Jimmy White was doing an exhibition nearby at a pub called 'Tyrwhitt Arms'. After enquiring, I was lucky enough to grab the last ticket of the evening to play the legend himself. I was super excited, as this was the first time I'd ever played a top class professional in an exhibition in front of a packed crowd of a few hundred people. I even had my own entrance for when I made my way to the table! My walk-on music was 'High Hopes' by 'Panic At The Disco'. When I got to the table, Jimmy and I shook hands and we had our photo taken - whilst this was happening, Jimmy commented on my choice of music and whispered to me, "finally! some good bloody music!"
